Parapets can be made with barbed wire on top to protect the player from Infected Policemen, and the players can shoot through the barbed wire at the infected hordes. Place it at the top of poles to specifically take out Spider Zombies and to keep normal zombies from getting caught. Zombies will avoid barbed wire and are less likely to attack it. Use barbed wire to discourage zombies from breaking down your fortress. Back in the days of A16, the group I play 7DTD with asked me to design a better horde base.
